Good Neighbors International (GNI) is an international humanitarian and development NGO. GNI has made great strides in its mission by providing people around the world with a better quality of life. Good Neighbors Cambodia (GNC) is the field country project that has been implementing its projects in Cambodia since 2002. GNC is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

Administrative Officer in charge of communication and public relation (1 position based in Head Office, Phnom Penh)

Job description
  • Maintain and update information on the GNC's website, face-book and intranet, Google
  • Produce and implement internal communication
  • Prepare routine communication for CDP, line departments & other government offices.
  • Maintain good inter-team communications engender good team dynamics, and take suitable action when problems occur.
  • Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies of GNC more effectively;
  • Ensure GNC promotion materials are available for distribution both internally and externally to government and partners in timely basis.
  • Develop GNC promotional materials such as brochures, newsletter and annual report that profiles GNC achievements.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual report and submit to government and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure all IEC, reports & other publications are consistent with GNC’s corporate profile.
  • Prepare quarterly achievement report of Head Office for IHQ.
  • Archive all PR files, press releases, speeches and other related documents.
  • Renew MoU and project agreement with relevant ministries or departments.
  • Liaison with NGOs, government agencies, & other public sector agencies as appropriate.
  • Request for attestation and renew visa for expats
  • Ensure up-to-date dissemination listings are maintained
  • Participate in and provide support to formal information systems implemented at organizational level and project levels.
  • Maintain print and electronic library resources and ensure their accessibility to staff including managed circulations of incoming reports, publications, periodicals etc.
  • When delegated by AD manager and in collaboration with admin and logistic officer, assist in organizing conferences/workshops/meetings including logistic support which includes organization of venues, accommodation, travel, invitation and confirmation, MC service, translation, documentation, publication documents agendas, minutes and reports as required.
  • Accessing information from internet, libraries, other organization and government on request.
  • Overseeing maintenance of information about internal and external networks, including partner profile, contact list etc.
  • Being available to present GNC at meetings or forum
  • Other tasks assigned by the supervisor or country director

Requirement
  • Degree in Social Science, Communication & Public Relation or Business Administration
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in public relations required
  • Proven track record in designing and executing successful public relations
  • Strong relationships with both local and national business
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Solid experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc
  • Honest, flexible and able to work in a team.
  • Capacity to finish work promptly on time required
  • Able to build effective working relationships and communicate with staff at all levels
  • Able to effectively negotiate and influence diverse stakeholders
