The tax accountant position requires strong accounting skills and is accountable for the collection of tax-related information, reporting to taxation authorities. Additionally, the tax accountant spends of the time supporting tax audit and continuing compliance, gathering documents and responding to requests for information from auditors.

Session 3: Accounting evidences and bookkeeping
- Using vouchers and invoices
- Accounts listing and practices with purchase ledger, sales ledger and payroll ledger etc.
- Controlling data from Excel and accounting system
- Filling the documents
- Understanding custom clearance, custom taxes, handling changes and other charges.
- Accounts for PPEs (Property, Plant & Equipment) and management
Session 4: Monthly tax compliance practices
- Review of Cambodian tax system
- Tax on Salary and Fringe Benefits
- Value Added Tax (VAT)
- Withholding Tax (WHT)
- Prepayment of Profit Tax (PPT)
- Monthly tax return filling
Session 5: Preparation the accounts closing
- Provisioning, checking cash, inventories, confirming trade payables and trade receivables , depreciation of non-current assets, recognizing all accrued and prepayment
- Revising and adjustment of accounts
- Preparation the financial statements adapt to IFRS for SMEs and CASs
Session 6: Annual tax compliance practices
- Tax on profit purpose

Who is the trainer?
This course is compiled by Mr. Kit Chanthorng, as Executive Director of C.O.P.A Training Center Co., Ltd (C.O.P.A). In priorly, he has been connected in the position of accounting manager, auditor and senior tax & accountant job. He has graduated an MBA in field of Financial Management and pursuing ACCA qualification.
