Cambodian Young Entrepreneur Awards 2015 (CYEA 2015) - Call for applicants

JCI (Junior Chamber International) and Young Entrepreneur Association of Cambodia (YEAC) is the combination of the world's largest network of young leaders and entrepreneurs. As young leaders and entrepreneurs, we endeavor to find ways to recognize and support outstanding examples in these areas.

We intend to raise the profile of young entrepreneurs, support the entrepreneurial spirit and foster fellowship through business leadership across the world. As a result, Cambodian Young Entrepreneur Awards 2015 (CYEA 2015) has been created for the first time in history to recognize outstanding individuals who have made great impact to the business communities in Cambodia.

CYEA 2015 is a program that will be run on national level from December 2014 until May 2015. Top 10 young entrepreneurs will be selected. Their profiles will be written and recorded, and will be showcased as leader examples for the current youth generation. Finally, Top 3 out of these 10 outstanding business leaders will be honored with CYEA Trophies at the finale organized on May 30th, 2015.

Goal:

• To honor creative young entrepreneurs.
• To Promote and support business creativity, and new enterprise development in general.
• To create interest in entrepreneurship among capable young business people

There are four awards:

• Outstanding Woman Entrepreneur Award any woman who had great creative, Innovation or great achievements, great inspiration in their business activity
• Outstanding Social Entrepreneur Award those businesses that had great contribution back to social like environmental, humanitarian work, cultural & Art, Tourism that the concept is to sustain the society
• Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year Award had great creative, Innovation or great achievements, great inspiration in their  business activity
• Outstanding Metfone Business Award: this award will be given to Metfone who had creative High Tech business

Criteria:

1. 18-40 year of age of age
2. Business establishment of at least 2 years
3. Fully registered company in Cambodia
4. Cambodian nationality
5. The company must at least have 5 staff minimum
6. Prohibited industries: gambling, illegal logging, tobacco & alcohol
7. Must not be involved in award or project organizing committees
8. Woman entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply
