Good Neighbors Cambodia (GNC) is the field country project that has been implementing its projects in Cambodia since 2002. GNC is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

Education and Advocacy Officer

Job description:
  • Participate in the Participatory Appraisal Process (PAP) Team led by the Operation Department Manager (ODM) to jointly decide on data to be collected.
  • Review PAP report and develop recommendations for projects.
  • Ensure that project designs are aligned with sector strategic plans, are adequate technical quality and all interventions are supportive of empowering transformational development that is sustainable.
  • Develop common sector indicators, tools and process for Community Development Project (CDP) support.
  • Provide technical, training and reflection support to Education facilitators/Coordinators/Managers including adoption of common standards, tools, process and inputs on innovative practices.
  • Support other technical staffs and ODM to coordinate and/or facilitate practitioner networks or sector working groups and documenting key lessons.
  • Participate in developing Monitoring and Evaluation management system and follow up the practice.
  • Conduct monitoring and evaluation for education and advocacy sector to ensure that CDPs carry out as per basket of option, tools and process.
  • Support ODM to monitor Education and Advocacy sector Strategy using monitoring and evaluation information from the CDPs.
  • Support ODM in networking and the sector advocacy at national and regional levels.
  • Other tasks assigned by the line manager.


  • Bachelor degree in education management or related fields.
  • Degree of pedagogical education is preferred.
  • At least 2-year experience in education, advocacy and networking.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, analytical and coaching skills.
  • Good interpersonal communication skill, and ability to work closely and supportively within a team.
  • Good written and spoken English and Khmer.
  • Good computer and typing skills (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight at project sites.
