Initially established in 1996 as a project of International HIV/AIDS Alliance, KHANA started operating as an NGO in 1997 and was officially registered as a local NGO in 2000. Since then it has been operating as a linking organization of the International HIV/AIDS Alliance and is so far a leading non-governmental organization in Cambodia that has made outstanding contributions to the HIV response and other related emerging issues in the country. KHANA’s work has been made possible through support from USAID, the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, European Union, and AusAID.  We are now seeking a qualified Cambodian national for the following vacancy:

Information Technology Officer (1 Position)

Key Responsibilities:
The post holder plays a vital role in the overall operations of KHANA by providing of a full range of IT supports with high standard and ethics including network, email and internet administration, organizational electronic data backup and safeguarding, computer (and accessories) management and maintenance, and computer software troubleshooting.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Working across KHANA to resolve IT problems, understand needs and offer solutions.
  • Improving KHANA software/hardware implementations in data recovery, data storage, perimeter security, internal security, centralized email, and database maintenance.
  • Managing, maintaining and planning for KHANA’s IT equipment (i.e. computers and accessories replacement, server upgrades, etc.).
  • Devising state of art systems (within KHANA resources) to enable departments to communicate with each other and share data and best practice easily.
  • Ensuring security of KHANA systems especially those handling the financial operations and data gathering and storage.

Selection Criteria:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, MIS or other relevant academic disciplines
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experiences of running medium sized networks in commercial or NGO agency
  • Demonstrable and strong IT skills in Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange
