VisionFund is seeking 01 qualified candidate to fill the position of FINANCE MANAGER based in our Head Office, Phnom Penh.
S/he is to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of financial management in the company. S/he has to ensures that all required accounting records and financial statements are accurately, regularly and timely prepared and produced in compliance with all the concerned regulation and standards at national and international level.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Control all accounting transaction to ensure the accounting transactions are prepared on time and accurately by provincial branch accountants and branch support accountants;
- Review vouchers and financial documents relating to VisionFund business transactions;
- Be responsible for making sure the reviewing and monitoring of accounting/financial reports required by management, donors, World Vision support offices, Partnership Offices and National Bank of Cambodia are on time and accurate;
- Review financial reports and ensure that the bank reconciliation statements and management account reconciliations are prepared on a monthly basis on time and accurately by his/her subordinates;
- Monitor and follow-up with finance staff on implementation of the action plans to ensure a smooth process of the activities in line with finance plans;
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of monthly and annual tax declarations, tax payments and submissions to tax authorities;
- Manage all the accounting software to guarantee the accuracy of the posted transactions and account balance;
- Assist Chief Financial Officer in the preparation of 5 year financial projections, annual budgets, midyear reviews and other budget revisions as required;
- Monitor expenditures and financial analyses and advise the Chief Financial Officer and branch managers on a regular basis for expenditure levels against budget/ business plan;
- Oversee the preparation, updating, and maintenance of VisionFund inventory, fixed asset records, etc.;
- Verify that company assets have been properly recorded and assigned to staff, and ensure the company’s assets are properly and efficiently used to benefit the company;
- Strengthen the capacity of staff under supervision through continuous training and other methods;
- Identify annual trainings required for the branch accounting staff and ensure the implementation of the trainings;
- Continuously build self and staff’s capacity for related skills to improve performance and productivity. Implement the Performance and Development Management (PDM) system;
- Develop policies and procedures related to finance and accounting;
- Exemplify leadership, management and day-to-day behavior and attitudes that encourage others to follow VisionFund’s mission, core values and Christian identity;
- Support and uphold Christian values and principles, regularly attend the staff spiritual and nurture activities;
- Build and maintain critical relationships with staff and managers and other stakeholders;
- Build relationships with World Vision Cambodia and other stakeholders;
- Ensure that the relationship between VisionFund and World Vision is properly understood.
Requirement Competencies:
- Must understand and agree with VisionFund’s vision, mission, goals, and core values;
- Master Degree in the field of finance & accounting;
- ACCA or CPA qualification desired;
- At least 3 years of work experiences in finance management positions in a Financial Institution or similar company is preferable;
- At least 5 years of work experiences as finance staff in Microfinance or Bank sector;
- Strong computer skills; especially in Microsoft Excel, Access and Accounting Software;
- Knowledge and understanding of National Bank regulations & Prakas as well as Cambodia Taxation;
- Fluent speaking and strong writing of English language;
- Ability to work under pressure and be highly self-motivated;
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
