• Based in Battambnag, Cambodia, frequent on field travels in rural villages.
• Start in December, 2014.Three months trial period for long term contract

“TeukSaat 1001” is a Cambodian non-governmental organization created as an offshoot of safe drinking water supply project in rural area in partnership with the French NGO “1001 fontaines pour demain”. The first stage of the initiative started in 2005, in North West Cambodia, and has achieved to date the implementation of 50 operating sites in Battambang, BanteayMeanchey and Siem Reap provinces. These sites provide more than 50,000 people daily with safe drinking water. “TeukSaat 1001” is committed to act as a service platform for all production sites of safe water and as a project  to set-up new safe water production sites.

Mission: The mission of “Teuk Saat 1001” is to implement sustainable improvement in the health of people living in isolated communities. The proposed objective of our non-profit organization is to empower rural communities by enabling them to produce and guarantee quality of drinking water at an affordable price, based on a social enterprise business model, which ensures that they are self-sufficient and reach the largest number of beneficiaries.

Duties of candidate
TeukSaat is seeking for Cambodian experimented in rural communities’ development with a strong understanding of business and finance issues. Under the responsibility of “TeukSaat1001”Platform  Manager and in coordination with other members of the Platform team, he/she will be assigned the following responsibilities:

• Advise entrepreneur on:  Financial Management, Cash count, loan and assistant fee collection, water production management, salary calculation, product development. 
• Help sites to do marketing activities as below:                                                                                                        

         - O-We promotion, clients recruitment , delivery preparation  for attractive

         - Train and Coach entrepreneur on consumer care, sale techniques.

• Provides advisement to entrepreneur and community on :

         -  Sale plan, how to improve water quality, role and responsibilities, team  work,
           facilitate on problem solving, conflict management, meeting with community and
           local authorities.

• Keep good communication and cooperation with entrepreneur and community member:                             

         - Share information of site financial situation, Water loose, Clients feedback.
         - Contact with entrepreneur and community by phone or meet face to face
         - Meeting with entrepreneur and some community members to share information,
           problem discussion, plan to improve sites

• Site monthly operation report
• Data collection and entry

Requirements of applicant

• Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Economy, Finance.
• 2 year experience in rural communities’ development or micro finance sector is required
• Be strong motivation and commitment to travel to water production sites in rural communities
• Excellent communication skills
• Result-oriented
• Be strong work ethic and teamwork
• Computer skills: Microsoft office (Word, Excel, ppt)
