Pour un Sourire d’ Enfant (PSE) is a non-profit organization, established at the end of 1995 in Cambodia, working to provide food, shelter, medical care, general education and vocational training to children needing support, e.g. underprivileged children; maltreated children; children living in poverty and children without any formal education in Phnom Penh, Preah Sihanouk and Siem Reap. Currently PSE is providing help to more than 6,500 children, supporting around 3,000 children in public schools, 1,500 in the remedial education program, and 1,500 in the vocational training program. Around 500 children benefit from specific educational programs: classes for children with disability, day-care centers, infant welfare, etc. PSE employs more than 600 dedicated staff. Due to rapid growth of existing and new programs, PSE is seeking competitive and capable candidates to fill various positions of:Sales and Marketing Instructor
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deliver training courses on Sales and Marketing Courses in the BBA program and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Program of PSE School of Business.
- Develop and update training resources and materials in response to the job market needs.
- Prepare teaching plans adapted to the skills using more student-centered approach.
- Lead students to design, set up and implement an internal sales practice project in order to enable them to apply their sale skills into real practice.
- Initiate and develop useful course resources including lessons, pedagogical tools, case studies, exercises, homework, and assignments linked to the real business world.
- Support and participate actively in school events and activities such as press preview, writing articles for school newsletters, Drop Everything And Read (DEAR), English speaking zone, cleaning day, etc.
- Join class council to assess students in terms of study progress, discipline, behavior, character, morality, etc. and take appropriate actions accordingly.
- Take part in orientating and selecting students for accounting class in accordance with school requirements.
- Be a homeroom teacher for an accounting class and ensure that the students obey school rules, have good discipline and receive appropriate and timely support in solving their problems.
- Guide students in writing their internship reports and making their presentations.
- Optionally act a class advisor for one class by spending 1 hour every week educating and consulting the students about different topics related to their study, problems, and self-development.
- Perform other duties assigned by manager.
Job Requirements
- Minimum BBA degree in Marketing or other related fields.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in sales or marketing.
- Relevant teaching experience and pedagogy is preferable.
- Good command of both spoken and written English.
- Strong motivation and interest in teaching career.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexible to change and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet & E-mail).
