APV is currently seeking for the qualified Cambodian candidates to fill the position of Senior Auditor
The Senior Auditor will support Assistant Audit Manager in providing technical assistance to APV for implementation of Modern Auditing Practices at the field audit through supervision of audits and on the job training of auditors. Major responsibilities will be:
Key Responsibilities
- Managing portfolio of audits allocated by Assistant Audit Manager.
- Conduct Workshops/Training sessions for the auditors on FAM as and when required in collaboration with Assistant Audit Manager.
- Preparing detailed audit plan for audit units allocated with defined time lines.
- Supervising multiple assignments and acting as the in-charge auditor briefing and leading the team to deliver the audit.
- Supervising and coaching members of the team.
- Communicating with the Assistant Audit Manager, Audit Manager and Clients on issues and progress of the work.
- Determine the mode of acquisition of electronic transaction data for CAATs purpose and developing audit program guide for CAATs.
- Develop permanent and planning files for each population unit with the help of audit team.
- Ensure the audit documentation reflects appropriate business understanding and the audit strategy.
- Provide input to the audit team's evidence gathering and being involved in judgmental areas, and review the audit evidence obtained ensuring it is sufficient.
- Develop working paper files for each population unit with the help of audit team.
- Develop audit report and reporting files for each population unit with the help of audit team.
- Ensuring that audit has been completed in accordance with the requirements of Financial Audit Manual (FAM).
- Maintain contact with management of the audit client and take part in opening and exit interviews.
Qualifications:
- University degree in accounting, finance or audit
- Graduated or almost graduated CPA is preferred
- Good communication and written English skills required.
- A team player with strong inter-personal skills.
- Internationally mobile and able to travel.
- Fluency in English both written and oral is essential.
