The Photographic Museum of Humanity Grant is an international contest that we organize with the aim to finance talented photographers and discover new talents.
The photographic competition starts on
December 10th, 2013 and will last until February 26th, 2014.
Photographers are invited to present a series of maximum 15 photos
to our international jury, which is going to award the three most
relevant works. There are also a special prize dedicated to photographer
under 25 and a number of honorable mentions according to the material
received. There is no entry fee, but you must be registered in our community with a photographer account in order to join the competition.
After the success of the PMH 2013 Grant, during
which more than 1100 photographers presented their works, Photographic
Museum of Humanity announces the new 2014 Grant. The jury for the second
edition of the contest will be outstanding: Alec Soth (Magnum Photos),
Iatã Cannabrava (Brazilian Curator, creator of the Latin American
Photography Forum of São Paulo), Olivier Laurent (Associated Editor for
British Journal of Photography) and Diana Markosian (young award winning
photographer). They will be in charge to review the portfolios and
award the successor of Cihad Caner, last year winner.
PMH 2014 Grant is an important occasion to see your work
recognized by an outstanding jury in front of an international public.
It is a great moment to gain visibility and create yourself new
opportunities.
"Since winning the PMH 2013 Grant First Prize, I
won a scholarship that will help me to conduct more work, and I think
this is largely due to the prize. It enabled my work to gain more
visibility and it gives me an extra incentive to start new projects"
