Project Coordinator

The Transcultural Psychosocial Organization Cambodia (TPO) is a NGO providing comprehensive services in mental health since 2000. We are currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the following vacancy. The purpose of the position is to provide effective outreach interventions and psychological treatment:

Project Coordinator (one position based in Phnom Penh):

Key Responsibilities:
  • Day to day management of the overall operation of the project.
  • Ensure effective coordination with the subcontractor.
  • Develop and maintain systems to monitor the project’s progress and impact according to log frame. Undertake field trips to monitor implementation.
  • Manage the project’s data and update all data regularly, liaising with TPO’s Research and Monitoring Coordinator.
  • Develop and coordinate work plans for project staff and provide day-to-day management of project staff as well as supervision and feedback.
  • Provide logistical arrangements for all project related interventions and related administration work.
  • Manage the project’s budget in close liaison with TPO’s Finance Manager.
  • Prepare 6-months and annual progress narrative and financial reports reflecting results and lessons learned.
  • Assist in the production of research reports, audio-visual publications and IEC and training material.
  • Provide capacity building to beneficiaries and assist in the implementation of project activities.

  • University degree
  • Strong management skills, preferably with at least 3 years experience in managing (community based) projects
  • Strong English reading, writing and speaking skills
  • Strong critical analysis skills
  • Possess an understanding and interest in Cambodian history and conflict management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of mental health and peacebuilding would be an added plus.
