Initially established in 1996 as a project of International HIV/AIDS Alliance, KHANA operated as an NGO from 1997 and was officially registered as a local NGO in 2000. Since then it has operated as a linking organization of the International HIV/AIDS Alliance and is so far a leading non-governmental organization in Cambodia that has made outstanding contributions to the HIV response. KHANA’s work has been made possible through support from USAID, the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, European Commission, World Food Programme and AusAID. We are now seeking a qualified Cambodian national for the following vacancies:
Communication Assistant (Volunteer- 1 Position)
Purpose of position:
Provide overall supports to smoothen the performance function of the Policy Team in implementing its communication and marketing; and to provide administrative support to the Office of Deputy Director for Operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Communication and Organizational Marketing
- With the support of SCO, develop activity highlights for KHANA
- Assemble news, feature and case stories, best practices, and reports for publication and filling
- Assist SCO in organizing KHANA’s electronic filing system
Administrative and other services to Deputy Director: Operations
- Provide overall administrative support to the Office of Deputy Director: Operations
- Record and monitor the schedule of Deputy Director: Operations
Selection Criteria:
- Graduate bachelor or at least year 4 journalism, communication, and/or IT.
- Experience is not required
- Good written and oral communication skills in Khmer and English
