Pour un Sourire d'Enfant (PSE) is a French non-profit making organization which has been established since 1996. PSE employs more than 500 dedicated staff. It provides technical and vocational education, nutrition, health care, protection & shelter, general education and community development to underprivileged students. Due to rapid growth of existing and new programs, PSE is seeking for a potential candidate for a vacant position of Head of Foundation Studies (01 post), based in Phnom Penh.

- Be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of Foundation and Skill Bridging Course studies: Academics Affairs, Students Affairs, Staff Management, Ministry Communication, and other Administration Tasks
- Analyze and revise the policy, action plan, course curriculum, pedagogy approach, and technical training plan for Foundation and Skill Bridging Course in order to prepare them for Future Vocational Trainings
- Establish and enforce school disciplinary act and student affairs in line with the policies and internal regulation required
- Motivate and manage team of Foundation and Skill Bridging Course covering from Khmer teacher, Math Teacher, Computer Teacher, and other staffs with a clear objective and performance appraisal based on a Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Key Result Areas (KRA)
- Participate and collaborate with Human Resource Department to recruit and select the ideal new applicants to fill each job vacancy arisen
- Work closely with Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and other stakeholders and analyze and adhere to their requirements/ systems accordingly
- Administer the administration affairs and monitor them strictly
- Perform other duties assigned by Orientation and Foundation Department Manager
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Education, Management or other related majors
- Minimum three year progressively work experiences as a senior or management roles related to education disciplines
- Hold a pedagogy certificate is a plus
- Possess a solid knowledge of education, training, management and education policy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with related Ministries and other stakeholders
- Good management and leadership skills
- High capability of analysis and critical thinking
- Good command of English (with French is preferable).
- IT literate (Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook….)
