Pour un Sourire d'Enfant (PSE) is a French non-profit making organization which has been established since 1996. PSE employs more than 500 dedicated staff. It provides technical and vocational education, nutrition, health care, protection & shelter, general education and community development to underprivileged students. Due to rapid growth of existing and new programs, PSE is seeking for a potential candidate for a new position of Social Officer Assistant (01 post), based in Phnom Penh.
Responsibilities

- Follow up and visit the existing families in the communities to access their living standard improvements
- Search, observe, select and propose the children or families into the program based on the PSE’s criteria
- Cooperate with related departments to follow up a student absence and drop out
- Solve the problems of children and families
- Assist in organizing the community development training program
- Promote and connect with related local authorities and other partners
- Keep on updating the database
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Sociology, Psychology, or other fields related
- Minimum one year experience in social work or community facilitation
- Strong capacity of communication with community and local authority
- Good command of English
- Computer literacy (Words, Excel, Access, E-mail, PowerPoint…etc.,)
- Be independent, initiative and team spirit
- Willing to work with the vulnerable children and community people
