Pour un Sourire d'Enfant (PSE) is a French non-profit making organization which has been established since 1996. PSE employs more than 500 dedicated staff. It provides technical and vocational education, nutrition, health care, protection & shelter, general education and community development to underprivileged students. Due to the rapid growth of existing and new programs, PSE is seeking for potential candidates for the position of PHP Application Server Administrator Consultant Volunteer (01 Post), based in Phnom Penh.

- Study and diagnose the weaknesses and current issues and improve or develop on the domains: Hardware architecture and capacity, hosting environment (Linux, Apache, MySQL, Web application (PHP), issues and difficulties in using troubleshooting and administering database and application
- Study and provide a practical recommendation to implement new platforms of PHP application servers to host internal databases and application
- Implement and train staff in line with new hosting platform, database and application: Install and configure latest operating systems (CentOS) on different server boxes, install and configure PHP application server packages, write administrator guide for administrating and troubleshooting technical issues
- Test and apply the new solution
Requirements
- Diploma's or bachelor's Degree of Computer engineering or other related fields
- Minimum one year experience in designing, implementing or administering PHP application servers
- Strong knowledge of PHP and Server applications
- Basic knowledge of ASEAN Culture or Cambodian Culture is a plus
- Foreigner Volunteer is strongly encouraged to apply
- Be able to work for a three -month full time volunteer contract
- Be autonomous, dynamic, creative and detail oriented
- Be able to work in team and individual
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Be able to communicate in English or French
