Cambodian League for the Promotion and Defense of Human Rights (LICADHO) is a non-governmental, non-profit and non-political human rights organization established in July 1992. With a central office in Phnom Penh and twelve provincial offices, LICADHO aims to promote human rights and the rule of law.
LICADHO is seeking a highly qualified local candidate to fill the position of Documentation Resource Office Coordinator (DRO Coordinator) for LICADHO’s Phnom Penh office. The purpose of the position is to provide technical support to DRO staff and to ensure high quality of data entry, accurate statistics and appropriate use of information for advocacy purposes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist to implement, monitor and evaluate project
- Staff supervision and development
- Oversee data entry, video production and finalization of advocacy/ICT material
- Report for internal and external purposes
- Assist to collect research information
- Edit internal and external documents
- Manage project budget and expenses
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Cambodian national
- University degree in journalism, IT, communications or a closely related field
- At least 5 years’ minimum experience working in the field
- Knowledge about human rights, land grabbing and advocacy in Cambodia
- Fluent in written/oral English
- Strong communication, documentation and analytical skills
- Honest, responsible, able to lead a team with minimum supervision
- Preference given to candidates with knowledge about ICT, social media and lay out/design computer program
