Chemonics seeks long- and short-term technical experts for anticipated
USAID-funded agriculture and private sector development projects in
Senegal. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a
difference in the lives of people around the world.
Experts are sought in the following technical areas:
- Value chain development with an emphasis on rice, maize, millet, fisheries and horticulture (production, input supply, post-harvest and marketing)
- Agricultural and trade policy analysis
- Agricultural finance
- Nutrition
- Organizational capacity building
- Monitoring and evaluation
- Gender analysis
- Communications
- Grants management
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in relevant field required
- Experience working on donor-funded projects, USAID projects preferred
- Minimum six years of experience in one of the technical areas listed above, private sector experience desirable
- Experience building the capacity of local partners and organizations
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
- Proficiency in English and French required (minimum FSI Reading 3 and Speaking 3); proficiency in other relevant languages desirable
