The Strategic Financial Management for NGOs course is design to build the capacity of NGO staff to manage the financial sustainability of their organizations. This workshop is aimed at senior managers and those responsible for the strategic management of programmes. It is also ideal for programme managers who advise local partners on strategic financial management and picks up on the more advanced aspects of financial management for NGOs, to further develop the skills and confidence of NGO staff to manage the strategic aspects of finance management including managing core costs, the advantages and challenges of building reserve funds, how to achieve successful donor relationships and the ways to better integrate financial management into programme operations.

Who is the trainer?
Mr. Ly Polin, is an apprehensive and professional practical technical experienced as Finance Manager and Trainer. He provides series of trainings/workshops, coaching, consultation and system set up in the field of Finance and Taxation for governments, NGOs and business companies for many years. He earns high and positive recognition from trainees, institutions and entrepreneurs for his value and talent in conducting, and providing trainings.
Currently, Polin serves position as Finance Manager for a local NGO which is just localized from a prestigious and global recognized International NGO. He obtains Bachelor Degree in Management and Master Degree in Finance and Banking. Practically, he also perceives and receives professional technical experiences with different International NGOs and business companies for more than eight years which focus on financial management, Taxation , accounting procedure and management, procurement, internal control, budget preparation and analysis and financial report financial policy and procedure development, grants and contract management, budget negotiation and analysis, pre-award assessment and award monitoring, award negotiation, and auditing. He is a dedicated and well-respected trainer through his performance, knowledge, skills, attitude, experience and communication.
