CHEC is a sub-recipient of the Principal Recipient / National Centre for HIV/AIDS, Dermatology and STD (PR/NCHADS) for SSF-HIV funding. The award has been made for implementation of Home Based Care activities under the financial support from the Global Fund Grant, SSF-HIV Components. CHEC is looking for enthusiastic and experienced Cambodian nationals to fill the position of HBC PROGRAM OFFICER.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS and EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A degree in medicine, health, education, or other relevant degree or experience
- At least 2 years experience in managing a Home Based Care Project, or similar Health Project
- Interpersonal skills and proven experience in teamwork and building partnerships
- A compassionate, non-discriminatory and non-judgmental attitude toward People Living With HIV/AIDS
- Experience in teaching, conducting the training/ workshop, or other educational program with adult learners in health areas is preferably
- Strong knowledge in health education
- Excellent in interpersonal and communication skills
- Must also be aware of gender sensitive issues
- Word processing and using of a variety of computerized packages e.g., Excel, statistic software, spreadsheets etc. would be an advantage.
- Flexible, creative and analytical thinker
- Ability to work in team environment
- Research skills are desirable
