Hospitality Training Business Coordinator

Mith Samlanh is a Cambodian led non-governmental organization committed to working with marginalized Cambodian children, their families and communities.

Daily Mith Samlanh provides vocational training, education, counseling, food, shelter, medical services and various outreach programs to 1,800 street children and youths in Phnom Penh.

Mith Samlanh is seeking a qualified Cambodian candidate to fill the position of Hospitality Training Business Coordinator.

Position overview

• The Hospitality Training Business Coordinator is responsible for the daily oversight of all hospitality training businesses (level I, level II, level III, Café Mith Samlanh); supporting and improving them.
• Hospitality Training Business Coordinator will:
• Supervise, train, evaluate and support all hospitality staff in all of our restaurants
• Approve major purchases including restaurant equipment, repairs and renovations
• Writing of monthly, quarterly and annual reports
• Meeting with potential donors
• Create and oversee restaurant budgets
• Review monthly financial reports
• Frequently meeting with team leaders and Mith Samlanh Management

Experiences and qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Tourist Management or degree in hospitality and restaurant management
• Knowledge of local and international restaurant businesses and general restaurant operations
• Minimum of 3 years experience in managing restaurants
• Proficiency in MS Office products, especially email and Internet
• Strong communication skills both written and spoken in Khmer and English, any other language is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, training qualities, patient, energetic, management skills, people skills flexible, thorough and able to work in a diverse team from various cultural backgrounds

Location: This position is based in Phnom Penh and will requires local travel

Duration: Full-time work

Salary and benefits will be commensurate with qualifications and experiences.
