Mith Samlanh is a Cambodian led non-governmental organization committed to working with marginalized Cambodian children, their families and communities. Daily Mith Samlanh provides vocational training, education, counseling, food, shelter, medical services and various outreach programs to 1,800 street children and youths in Phnom Penh.
Mith Samlanh is seeking a qualified Cambodian candidate to fill the position of Home Base Production Team Leader.
Position overview
The Home Base Production Team Leader is responsible for organizing trainings and production for project beneficiaries, managing stock inventory, supervising a team of production staff and skills trainers and developing product ranges
Home Base Production Team Leader will:
- Recruit and organize trainings and production for families
- Monitoring of production and quality control
- Provide support and follow up to the project beneficiaries (in collaboration with case managers)
- Prepare skills training plan and equipment for project beneficiaries (in collaboration with skills trainer)
- Product development (in collaboration with skills trainer, TA, and business manager)
- Link with FI sales team for international orders and coordinate production.
- Prepare project reporting as required, including monthly statistics
- Management of stock inventory
- Supervise a team of production staff and skills trainer (weekly work plans, daily chores)
- Check all expenditure of the staff on the request form and invoice.
- Controlling and monitory daily activities to ensure the effective and efficiency
- Provide the training need for the team
- Prepare cash advance/disbursement for all expenses related to HBP production
Experiences and qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Business Management, Social Science or equivalent experiences
- At least 3 years experience in business management, income generating activities or related field, in the private or NGO sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, team player, willingness to work hands-on and on the field, sense of initiative, flexibility.
- Sound analytical skills, strong communication skills, team player, willingness to work hands-on in the field, sense of initiative, flexibility, creativity, simple production skills (sewing, screen printing, experience using recycled materials)
- Outstanding written and spoken communication skills, both English and Khmer.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office, POS System, AutoCAD or Adobe Suite Design Software
Location: This position is based in Phnom Penh and will requires local travel
Duration: Full-time work
