Course Objectives
The two-day course is designed to provide marketing practitioners with effective email marketing strategies to increase sales and brand awareness, retain customer relations and strengthen external relations, introduce new products, launch promotion campaigns, and succeed every marketing campaign at both profit and non-profit organizations. By the end of the course, participants will be able to apply the lessons learnt to gear their marketing campaigns towards a successful path.

Provide a general view of worldwide email marketing,
including key statistics and trend both worldwide and nationwide.

Opportunities
and Disadvantage
|
Provide key indicators that prove how email marketing has
opportunities and disadvantages for corporate communication and marketing
departments to increase sales and brand awareness, retain clients relations,
reach potential clients, etc.

Effectiveness
and Limitations
|
Show how email marketing can result in positive impacts on
certain marketing campaigns. Further, constraints and limited capability of
email marketing are provided to enable participants to make key decisions on
launching email marketing campaigns.

Acts and Unethical Issues

Provide key knowledge of spam and unethical issues
regarding email marketing.

Email Lists
|
Provide key skills in building email lists from CRM data,
business networking events, social network sites (LinkedIn & Facebook),
yellow pages and other websites using targeting email spider program. Also
provide practical knowledge of importing from /exporting into Ms. Outlook,
Gmail & Yahoo CSV files.

Provide key understanding of email campaigns (rich text,
plain text and HTML formats), including different types of email marketing
campaigns (follow-up, promotion, sales lead generation, event &
invitation, new product launch, newsletter, auto-response, scheduling, etc.)

Avoiding & Minimizing
|
Provide guidelines to successful launches of email
campaigns by providing keys to wording, design, word choices, spam-like
words, types of spam-like campaigns, email server requirements and sending
policies and limits.

Provide practical skills in creating basic HTML email
marketing campaigns using online-based email platforms (Gmail, others).

Provide practical skills in creating HTML email marketing

number of recipients by using PHPList software, dedicated email servers, and
E-Mail Merge integrated with Ms. Outlook and Word/Publisher.

Provide trainees an opportunity to practice creating an
email marketing campaign (campaign type and topic assigned by the trainer)
and sending as a test, using E-mail Merge integrated with Ms. Outlook and
Publisher.

Speaker
Mr. Hoem Seiha, a training and event organizer, a long-standing email marketer and an award-winning English writer, has built a huge success on business relations & networking and marketing campaigns through both written & spoken communications. Aside, he has such skills and experiences in education sciences, media and communications, and field marketing that he has understood and achieved many marketing campaigns.

Participation Guides & Requirements
In order to fully benefit from the course,
- Participants are required to bring their laptops (with high speed desired, also 3G Modems and flash drives, if possible) to the training (laptops have to have Ms. Office Packages installed, Outlook, Word, and Publisher required).
- Participants are required to have an email account configured on Microsoft Outlook (2007,2010) on their laptops.
- Participants should have Yahoo, Gmail, Facebook and LinkedIn Accounts (create ones if you have not yet had).
- Participants should know some English
