Project Identification and Design is a foundation development and very important for people who want to build competency to be a professional person in planning and implementing effective in various field of development. Project Identification and Design will guide detail method and practice including best experiences and its success factors, which will enable trainees/value participants to be aware of and able to apply in real practices.

To enable effective facilitation and be responsive to the development needs, the trainees will learn more about basic project, different experiences of project cycle and Project Identification and Design, and introducing of Monitoring & Evaluation Plan including real practices and exercises.

Overall Objective
Effective project design training workshop is to bring good lesson-learnt and best practices for successful knowledge, experiences, skills and abilities development and adding in the gaps in operating the development projects.

Expected Outcome
By the end of this two-day training, the participants will be able to:
  • Deeply understand of the project include different experiences which can be adapted into practices;
  • Adapt practical skills and techniques in Project Identification and design  in various fields in which apply effectively;
  • Identity key areas to build, improve and develop the project effectively;
  • Be competent to create a plan and implementation for best-benefit development
  • Be confident in working with project and become active project management.

  • What is the project? Difference between project and program!
  • Different experiences of project design in various organizations and institutions include:
  1. Project cycle
  2. Log frame and its term
          a. What is the logical framework?
          b. Element of logical framework
  • What is the indicator?
  • Level information of indicator
      a. Logical Diagram-Level of information
         (Input/Resource Activity Output/ Result

Who is the trainer?
Mr. Prum Siyen is a rural/community development specialist and project design. He owned extensive working experiences in the fields of community development and project design since 2003. He has experienced working in this field with many local and international NGOs and the joint collaboration with government agents. He possesses over nine-year experiences in building competency to development workers to form and strengthen the community based organization leaders to meet their requirements. He involved in strategic development for functioning CBO establishment, set up a series of capacity needs for healthy CBOs and strategies to sustain the community-based organization for further operations.

Currently, he is a senior project officer for LLEE, responsible for building capacity to community and development partners to develop effective strategies for sustainable development in the community and in the organizations. He also holds a Master Degree of Integrated Management of Agricultural and Rural Development, Certificate for higher education teacher from National Institute of Education (NIE). With his qualification and extensive experiences, he was invited to do presentation in many international training seminars.

  • First 10 registrations receive 5% discount of total fee per course.
  • Group registration of three or four persons at a time of the same course receives 5% discount of total fee per course.
  • Group registration of five persons or more at a time of the same course receive 10% discount of total fee per course.
