Course Objectives
By the end of 2 days professional training workshop the participants will be able to:
- Learn the components of project, and identify aims, goals and objectives
- Sharpen on the roles, responsibility and skills for effective project leaders in the organization
- Practice the methods tools & techniques to monitor the project more effectively in the organization
- Develop tools and steps of evaluation the project more effectively
- Follow the methods to evaluate all the projects based on five criteria of evaluation

Session 1: Overview on project
- What is a project?
- Define goal, aim, objectives
- Roles/responsibilities and skills of project leaders
Session 2: Project Monitoring
- What is monitoring?
- What is the purpose of monitoring?
- Monitoring methods and frameworks
- Monitoring tools and techniques
Session 3: Project Evaluation
- What is evaluation?
- Why do we need to evaluation the project?
- Difference between monitoring and evaluation
- Steps and methods in evaluation
- Tools and criteria for project evaluation
Training Methodology
The training methodology will be focused on Experience Based and Participatory Approaches include: lecture, student-centered including brainstorming, role play, small group discussion with plenary presentation, plenary discussion, group work, team involvement in decision making, participants’ problems raised during the workshop for discussion, communication game and any other contributions will be held in high respect.
Training tools, materials and facilities
The LCD projector, flipcharts, posters, color papers, handouts, folders, pens, papers and other stationeries, especially, daily evaluation and final evaluation and other specific materials were used to present key learning concepts and structures and to make good environment for learning and to ensure the training run smoothly and efficiency.
