The course will provide participants with knowledge on developing project management skills in order to enable them to perform their current tasks more effectively and efficiency. The courses are designed for project manager, project officer, project coordinator, project staff, program manager, program officer, program coordinator of NGOs who the ones who work related to the fields of managing project.

Course Objectives
By the end of 4 days professional training workshop the participants will be able to:

Session III: Project Design
Session IV: Project Implementation
  • Refreshing on the definition of project
  • How to design a successful project
  • Practise designing the  project
  • Project result chain: output, outcome, impact
  • Implantation of Monitoring &Evaluation
  • Monitoring &Evaluation framework
  • Five criteria of Monitoring &evaluation
  • Developing M &E report
  • Develop Activities Plans and Work Plans

Session V: Delegation and Supervision
Session VI: Risk Management
  • Definition of Delegation and supervision
  • Why do we need Delegation and supervision
  • Steps in effective delegation
  • What is the risk in project management?
  • Steps in risk management
  • Sauces/roots of risk in project management

Training Methodology
The training methodology will be focused on participatory approaches include: lecture, student-centered including brainstorming, role play, small group discussion with plenary presentation, plenary discussion, group work, team involvement in decision making, participants’ problems raised during the workshop for discussion, communication game and any other contributions will be held in high respect.

Training tools, materials and facilities
The LCD projector, flipcharts, posters, color papers, handouts, folders, pens, papers and other stationeries, especially, daily evaluation and final evaluation and other specific materials were used to present key learning concepts and structures and to make good environment for learning and to ensure the training run smoothly and efficiency.
