Project Cycle Management (PCM) provides a foundation on project and project management that’s necessary to develop advanced concepts. The course guides and thoroughly details on participatory approaches for effective project planning, tools for accurate project activities implementation, tools for effective monitoring and necessity feedback on ongoing project operation. PCM definitely helps project managers, project implementers and project stakeholders gain clear practical circle of project planning, designing, implementing and evaluating for project success and impacts.
Overall Objective
Project Cycle Management (PCM) aims to entail a group of activities, knowledge and skills to produce a project purpose in a fixed time frame or a series of projects whose objectives together contribute to a common overall objective of an organization effectively and efficiently.
Expected Outcome
- The ability to understand general concepts of project, project cycle, design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation;
- The ability to produce effective tools for project design, implementation, monitoring and evaluating;
- The ability to analyze project risks and manage effectively;

Who is the trainer?
Mr. Sou Savoeurn possesses over 10 years of experiences in teaching ESL and training to improve high standard of implication for achieving organizational goals. He experienced in community-based organizations formation, community development-based youth agents, program technical advice, organizational strategic development, school and education center management and program management. Savoeurn also experienced in organizing, delivering, monitoring and evaluating the success of training curriculums and trainings provided to local partners, companies, not-for-profit organizations, social enterprises, local government agencies and individuals for effective implementation, leading, managing and evaluating of those institutions’ activities.
Currently, Savoeurn works as Community Development Program Manager (CDP Manager). He pertains to lead, manage, monitor, evaluate and ensure the effectiveness, efficiency, relevant, impact and lessons learnt of child protection & education, livelihood restoration & improvement, health service improvement and community organizing projects. He conducts regular coaching and training to project staffs, local partners and individuals for achieving all project vision, mission, goals and objectives. Furthermore, he is a weekend trainer for a private institution and NGOs. Savoeurn’s past positions include academic director, acting child protection and education program manager, chairman of education technical team and program adviser.
