NGO Coalition on the Rights of the Child (NGOCRC), established in 1994, is an alliance of National and International NGOs advocates for Child Rights in Cambodia and ensures support for the UNCRC through monitoring its implementation, cooperation with member organizations, and networking with relevant agencies.
NGOCRC, with funding support from Save the Children in 2010, established a child rights monitoring database to store data on children’s rights situation collected from its members and networks. The system or database has been developed based on the final data collection forms produced by NGOCRC. The data collection form was then sent to NGOCRC’s members and network for collection of data on children’s rights situation and found some points uncollectable. The data collection form was then revised with participation from NGOCRC’s members and networks. Therefore, the system or database need to be revised based on the data collection form as well.
With funding support from Save the Children, NGOCRC is now seeking for a national or international independent consultant for Revising the Child Rights Monitoring Database to update the system based on the revised data collection form.
Key Responsibilities
- Review the existing child rights monitoring database system of NGOCRC.
- Learn from the revision of NGOCRC’s child rights monitoring data collection forms.
- Revise the Child Rights Monitoring Database System or Database.
- Test the system with comment from NGOCRC’s staff.
- Finalize the system for NGOCRC.
- Provide orientation on how to use the system to NGOCRC’s staff.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor degree in field 'Information Technology Management' or related to this tasks
- Experience in database developments for more than three years
- Strong commitment with the consultancy work with NGOCRC
- Do not have any history of child abuse and SAY NO TO CHILD ABUSE
- Ability to arrange work to meet the deadline.
