Save Cambodia’s Wildlife (SCW) is a premier national conservation non-government organization that works specifically on natural resources conservation and biodiversity preservation. Since its creation in 2000, SCW has been responsible for a large and diverse territory that covers many provinces of Cambodia.
In collaboration with Welthungerhilfe/WHH, SCW has been granted a 5-year project from EU in southeastern Cambodia, for both Stung Treng and Ratanakiri provinces. Thus, SCW is currently looking for one Cambodian National to fill the position of CASHIER based in Banlung district, Ratanakiri province.
Role and responsibilities
- Prepare and issue all financial related project paperwork, i.e. receipts, payment vouchers, etc. Ensure that all filling documents are properly and accurately
- Input data entry into Winpaccs Cashbook systems to meet deadline
- Handling daily cash in hand an in bank, and monthly prepare cash counted with PM approval
- Responsible for cash withdrawal and deposit from bank, updated bank book and collected all bank slip and other information related to bank
- Monthly report cash balance, prior to request new cash from head office Phnom Penh
- Assisted in checking all expenses especially advance clearance from project team are accurately and reasonable as well as monitor project budget vs. budget plan
- Liaison with filling system and EU policy and procedure guidelines
- Assist in collecting quotation / bidding procedure as stated under SCW policy
- Other duties may be assigned by Finance & Admin Manager
Required experiences and qualifications
- University Degree in Accounting, banking or finance. Advance degree is desirable
- One year of experience in accounting (with NGOs is preferable)
- Knowledge of accounting software package Quick Book or Winpacc preferable
- Strong belief in accountability and transparency
- Good spoken and written English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good computer skills include Ms. Word, Excel and internet-email
- Can work independently and under pressure
