Fauna & Flora International
(FFI), founded in 1903, is the world’s longest-established international
conservation organisation. With its head office in Cambridge, UK, today FFI is
active in over 40 countries worldwide, and has been operating in Cambodia since

biodiversity is conserved by the people living closest to it. We aim to do this
through the conservation of threatened species and ecosystems worldwide,
choosing solutions that are sustainable, based on sound science and take
account of human need. The FFI Cambodia Programme is recruiting for a skilful
and committed Project Finance Officer. This is a full-time position.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Reporting to: Finance & Administration Manager
Fixed Term
Contract: Two
years (with possible extension, pending funding availability)
Location: This position is based in Phnom Penh, with occasional travel to field
sites and elsewhere to support project activities as required.
Main Duties:
Under the supervision of the Finance & Administration Manager, the Project Finance Officer will support
the fund and budget management of projects under the
FFI Cambodia Programme.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly…)
- Track fund transfers and prepare projected budget for fund transfer request
- Assist in preparing project and organizational budget
- Assist in review of donors’ guidelines & Regulations and guide project staff on effective implementation
- Assist in preparing documents for responding to auditors
- Review the posted transactions in QuickBooks
- Guide FFI staff on the procurement of equipment and vehicles in accordance with relevant donor guidelines.
- Coordinate with sub-grantees and partners
- Perform other duties as required
Qualification/requirements:
- Bachelor decree in the accounting & finance field
- At least two year experiences in finance in NGOs with multi-donors and projects
- Strong knowledge and experiences of EU and USAID procurements, and rules& regulations
- Good coordination and organisational skills
- Good team work and good communication ability and skills
- Ability to work under pressure and willingness to learn new things
- Fluency in written and oral English and Khmer
- Good computer skills such as QuickBooks, Excel, and Internet
