Food Production Instructor

Pour un Sourire d'Enfant (PSE) is a French non-profit making organization which has been established since 1996. PSE employs more than 500 dedicated staff. It provides technical and vocational education, nutrition, health care, protection & shelter, general education and community development to underprivileged students. Due to rapid growth of existing and new programs, PSE is seeking for Potential Candidates to fill the following fulltime positions based in Phnom Penh:

Food Production Instructor

Responsibilities:

• Teach and train students  in cuisine and kitchen skills in both Asian and Western Food
• Follow up and update the course curriculum for Hotel School
• Ensure to provide a good service of catering
• Manage and prepare working schedule and plan for students to practice in the kitchen
• Represent and collaborate with all related partnerships and sponsorships
• Conduct tests and on-going assessments for students
• Administer the classroom management and discipline
• Write activity reports for the manager

Requirements:

• Minimum High School Certificate
• Minimum 2 year experiences in a position (Chef de Partie, Senior Chef de Partie or Sous Chef) in star class hotels
• Demonstrate professional experiences in Western and Asian Kitchen in five star hotels
• Teaching/ training experiences are prioritized
• Good command of English (French is a plus)
• Computer literacy ( Ms. Word and Excel, PowerPoint,  Internet and E-mail...etc.,)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Dynamic, initiative and team work
• Willing to work with vulnerable children
