Database Specialist
IDP Education, with its global network of more than 50 offices in 29 countries, is seeking suitably qualified applicants for the above position.
Main duties:
- Maintain and develop databases to support business operations of the organisation
- Ensure the functioning and the security of the databases
- Support and solve database issues
- Produce reports and generate and analyse statistics from databases to support various decisions of the Management and other departments
- Plan database development to support business growth
Key requirements:
- A university degree (IT/Computer Science)
- Advanced skills in database design (ASP.net, VB.net, MS SQL Server and MS. Access)
- At least one year experience in database analysis and design
- Strong analytical skills
- Good command of English
- Strong administrative and organisational ability
- Flexibility (e.g. adjusting to changing circumstances and working on a variety of tasks)
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for team work and for learning/professional development
