• Recognizing a problem.

• Defining the ownership of the problem.

Part 2: Analyzing the problem

• Stating the problem.
• The ways to state the problems
• Finding possible causes.
• Problem tree, fishbone diagram
• Technique to analysis the problems tree

Part 3: Choosing the solutions

• Logical approach
• Problems objective
• Brainstorming techniques to find the real solution
• Problem solving and decision making process
• Checking list technique
• Weighting and Voting technique
• Force field analysis
• Six thinking hats to find the real problem
• Ideas filtering  technique

Part 4: Implementing the solutions

• Actions plan for problem solving skills 
• Notices for implementing solution
• Evaluating the implement

Target learners:
The course on “Strategic problem solving and Decision making skills” is designed for managers, and team leaders who have to deal with problems and solve problems in their daily work. This means their work relates to:

• forecasting and planning;
• Daily operations of the business that involve teams and working process.

The course is based on the following assumptions about learners:

• They frequently cope with problems passively. They lack of prevention, and tackle the consequences rather than the causes.
• They usually solve problems by using ad hoc assumptions and past experience rather than using proven methods or tools. They cannot solve problems effectively because they either fail to define the issues, fail to consider the possible causes, or fail to choose the right solutions.

Mr. Oul Van (BBA, MBA) 
(Specialties: Marketing and Business Development)
OUL Van has considerable experience as a consultant and trainer in field of effective selling skills to develop selling and servicing for sale staff such as Cambodia Brewery Limited (Tiger Beer Company. In term of marketing, Mr. Van has over 9 year experience in sale and marketing responsible for all aspects of marketing and selling. He also has experience in academic and corporate training programs at private companies and universities. Plus to very professional experience, Mr. Van earned his MBA of Management from CHARLES STURT UNIVERSITY (Australia, MFE) and hold Bachelor of Business Administration in field of Marketing from National University of Management, Cambodia.

Training Methodology:
