The Cambodian Rural Development Team (CRDT) is a local NGO established in 2001, undertaking community development and natural resource management projects throughout the North East of Cambodia. It has the joint vision of poverty alleviation in support of environmental conservation. The CRDT team has high technical expertise and experience in environmentally appropriate agriculture development, water and sanitation, renewable energy technologies, income generation, and community empowerment. CRDT work in Kratie and Stung Treng provinces in communities along the Mekong, in rural southern Kratie, and in the biodiversity conservation zone in Mondulkiri empowering and mobilising indigenous Phnong.

Human Resource Assistant (1 position: Starting salary range $200 - $240 per month)

Main Responsibilities:
- Interpret and apply CRDT rules, regulations, procedures and policies regarding administration, logistics and human resource
- Continuously work to improve existing policies and procedures
- Support operational systems for managing necessary human resource functions to implement the approved policies
- Manage and provide necessary training resources and materials to all staff at both Head Office and Field Offices as a part of staff development program.
- Maintain orderly filing system of incoming and outgoing communications
- Prepare, receive, and send mail and keep correspondence records
- Support all personnel aspect such as: staff recruitment, staff probationary period evaluation, staff appraisal, develop and update staff’s job descriptions/ToRs.
- Take primary responsibility for identifying, sourcing and providing staff capacity building and training
- Ensuring that all staffs understand Staff Policy, Financial Policy and Implementation Strategy
Qualifications required:
- A university degree in Human Resource Management or related field
- Experience in human resource management
- Experience and a sound understanding of inventory, logistics, procurement and administration are required
- Two years working experiences with NGOs
- Positive outlook and a problem solving approach
- Good written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel to the field on a regular basis
- An ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Good level of physical fitness
