UBS Optimus Foundation has opened a call for innovation projects_ Deadline: 30-Nov-2011

 UBS Optimus Foundation (UBSOF) is a non-profit philanthropic organization established by UBS in 1999. UBS Optimus Foundation focuses on three grant areas: Education, Child Protection, and Global Health Research.

Within these areas, the foundation supports the conception, implementation and dissemination of innovative approaches and ideas that have potential for sustained development. In particular, we at UBSOF promote projects that pursue a multi-disciplinary approach and, whenever possible, link the three granting areas together.

The UBS Optimus Foundation has opened a call for innovation projects that integrate health and education interventions.

This call for 'Innovation' projects is to support novel, unconventional ideas under the specific requirements of funding projects for a term of 12-24 months; for a maximum of CHF 125,000; and with an application of no more than 4 pages.

All proposals that respond to the specific terms and topics within the call are welcome. The guidelines are listed below. Applications for this call must be received by 30 November 2011.
