1- Mr. Pech Bolene
Mr Pech Bolene has had 15 years experiences in human resources management. He started his management career at the very young age of 17 as a Branch Manager. From 1997 to 2008, Mr. Bolene managed more than 1000 employees for one of the biggest educational institutes. Mr. Bolene is now the entrepreneur, investor and Chief Executive Officer. He is currently the CEO of Westline Development Group and an investor in education, media, training and Research Company. Mr Bolene has worked in the fields of educational management, curriculum development, teacher professional development, and human resources management for 15 years. His areas of expertise include strategic management, organizational behavior, leading with emotional intelligence. He holds Master of HR Management and EMBA from the UK.
2- Ms. River Ho-Rathore
River is HR&OD Director of Sotelco Ltd., Cambodia’s fastest-growing mobile telecommunications operator that is widely known under the Beeline™ brand. A well-rounded Filipino professional with 12 years of HR-focused experience, River has taken responsibility for in-country operations, training and development, talent management, talent acquisition, labor relations and organizational development in the hospitality, media, telecommunications and banking industries.
River’s marked achievements include the successful operational start-up of Beeline Cambodia, establishment of performance-based rewards systems, recognition of Sotelco Ltd. as the best-in-class in terms of employee engagement and enablement in the global survey conducted by the Hay Group in 2010, and being awarded as the VimpelCom Group’s Best HR performer in 2009.
In 2010, River was elected by employers to serve as Deputy Secretary General of the Cambodian Federation of Employers and Business Associations (CAMFEBA) for the term 2010-2012.
River earned a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from the University of the Philippines. She also pursued her Diploma and Master’s degrees in Industrial Relations, majoring in Labor-Management Relations, at the School of Labor and Industrial Relations, University of the Philippines.
3- Mr. Kong Vara
Mr. Kong Vara is, more than 17-year experiences in human resources field, currently working for Vattanac Bank as Head of Human Resources and Training, actively involved in the establishment and delivery of an effective HR capability by providing support across the areas of recruitment, induction, training and development, payroll, health and safety, leave, expatriate staff immigration/ work permit, visa requirements, staff performance management, remuneration review, succession planning, and industrial & employee relations.
Mr. Kong Vara has also been attending many significant relevant overseas and local training/workshops pertaining to the International Labor Standard and Making the Link to Productivity (Turin, Italy), Advanced Leadership Training (Hawaii, USA), International Human Resources Management Training, Strategic Human Resources Transformation, HIV/AIDS Management at Work Place (Australia, Thailand & Singapore).
