WHERE: Cambodia Communication Institute (CCI Building inside the IFL Campus of the Royal University of Phnom Penh.)
WHO THIS IS FOR: This course is strategically designed for those who want to succeed in the demanding field of media and communication. You can be a young professional with a keen interest, or a working practitioner who wants to brush up and deepen existing skills – in both cases, you have come to the right place. Our curriculum caters to the needs of media & communication officers of NGOs, government institutions and private companies alike; working journalists may deepen their knowledge and take a look at “the other side”. Either way, our compact five-month structure with an evening-class layout allows trainees to pursue these studies without having to take time off from work.

- Khmer Writing Skills for Media & Official Use
- English for Communication
- Principles of Marketing & Advertising
- News Writing
- Media Law & Ethics
- Analyzing Public Opinion & Mass Communication
WHAT YOU CAN GET OUT OF IT:
All trainees will, upon completion of the course, receive an official certificate, jointly awarded through the CCI and Royal University of Phnom Penh. After five months of training, graduates will have significantly increased their competitiveness for Cambodia’s fast developing media market. They will have acquired both theoretical background knowledge and practical hands-on skills: valuable tools to communicate more efficiently with the public and better achieve their job target. In response to Cambodia’s international work scene, graduates will appreciate their English language training, rounded off with solid communication skills in written Khmer.
