I- COURSE
DESCRIPTION:
Human capital is very important for every organization. Therefore,
Human Resources Department is the central point of the organization and can
bring either successes or failure according to how it is functioned. In many
organizations, the HR Department is responsible for drafting all communications
such as Internal Memo, Letter of Suspension, Letter of Termination, Public
Announcement, Letter of Recommendation, Probation Confirmation Letter, Warning
Letter etc.
This training course will provide you the
overall concept of legal documents used in HR functions and the impact of an
uncompleted document. It will also provide the practical case studies on
disciplinary measures and the writing of warning letter, suspension letter,
dismissal letter, internal memorandum etc and their applications. Furthermore, practical case studies on how to
conduct an effective meeting with union representatives are included.

This course is
specially designed for Directors, Managers, Supervisors and Officers in charge
of Administration or HR Department. It also suits well for the professionals
from other departments.

interactive and practical. Activities like short-lectures, case studies and
practicing the exercises will be used after each session to enhance the

ABOUT TRAINERS
1- Ms.
Chhiv Phyrum (LLM)

SCA/CAMS
Ms. CHHIV Phyrum
is attorney-at-law duly registered with Bar Association of Cambodia (BAC) since
2007 specialized in labor and contract domains. She is also Labor Arbitrator of
the National Arbitration Council with over 50 cases handled. With nearly 10
years of experiences in Human Resources field, her major responsibilities cover
the strategic plan, industrial relations, career development, training, social
health program and HR policies and procedures. With her different background,
Ms. CHHIV has participated several times in the national and international
seminar and conferences for both human resources management and legal organized
by different international entities as moderator or guest speakers. Plus to
professional experiences, Ms. CHHIV has her human resources management trained
both in Cambodia and Japan. She holds her Bachelor and Master Degree of Private
Law from Lumiere Lyon 2, a French University, through a scholarship program
developed with Royal University of Law and Economics.
2- Mr.
Som Chamnan, LLB, B.A
Executive
Manager, CAMFEBA
Mr. Som Chamnan
is the Executive Manager and Advisor to the Legal Department of CAMFEBA. He has
extensively practical knowledge and experiences in Cambodian Labor since he has
been practicing this law for nearly 6 years through his work with CAMFEBA and
with the Arbitration Council Foundation as the Legal Officer. In both careers,
Mr. Chamnan was very much involved in doing the research on Cambodian Labor Law
and providing legal advice/support to CAMFEBA’s members and members of the
Arbitration Council, where he also involved in compiling the Arbitral Awards
and providing many training courses to trade unions, employers, court clerks
and law students on the Labor Dispute Resolution Process and the Arbitration
Council in Cambodia, Conciliation Technique, Case Preparation and Presentation
Technique.
Mr. Chamnan possesses the Bachelor Degree in
Law specializing in Labor Law from Royal University of Law and Economics and
Bachelor of Philosophy from Royal University of Phnom Penh. Besides these
degrees, he also has joint many overseas training and workshops relating to the
Industrial Relations.
