1.Senior Analyst & Analyst(3 - 5 positions)
This position is a key implementation position for the firm. As an analyst or senior analyst, you will be part of a niche consulting and research team who are driven to contribute to Cambodia’s economy. This position requires young professionals who are driven, hungry to learn about a variety of industries and who have demonstrated in their work and life, a passion to succeed and make a difference.
The position will
- Engage in research which will require you to meet a wide range of people including travel to necessary research locations around the country
- Require you to collect a wide range of information and summarise such information for project purposes
- Be responsible in the field for project implementation and working directly with clients
- Report to team leaders and consultants on a regular basis
- Be responsible to analyse and present information and findings to consultants for smaller streams of work during project implementation
- Work on a wide range of industries from the public sector right through to private sector including multinationals, prominent Cambodian conglomerates and SME’s
You should possess a combination or all of the following qualifications and skills
- 1 - 5 years of experience in a consulting or research environment
- Advanced degree preferably with exposure to an international education environment
- Fast learner and ability to work independently
- Demonstrated ability to understand basic economic data and information
- Above average written and communication skills.
- A passion for analytical and creative thinking work. Demonstrated research skills a must.
- Exposure to working with SPSS or STATA with a good foundation in Microsoft suite.
2.Senior Researcher & Consultants (1 – 2 positions)
This position is a key leadership position which requires an individual who has specialized research skills and knowledge in your particular field of interest. The position provides leadership in project implementation including working directly with clients and is also responsible for identifying business opportunities with the Director. The senior researcher reports directly to the Research Director and needs to demonstrate a passion for wanting to contribute to the development of Cambodia – either by working on social and policy related work or through studying the development of the business environment and challenges entrepreneurs face in growing business.
The position will
- Implement large scale research projects, including managing and developing team members
- Take on the leadership and implementation of core research projects that contribute to knowledge dissemination more broadly
- Be responsible and accountable for accuracy of data and information
- Be required to draw on team knowledge and oversee analysts working in the field including consolidating large quantities of data, analyse information and develop creative presentation results
- Be ultimately responsible for final research products
You should possess a combination or all of the following qualifications and skills:
- Around 5 years of experience in a consulting or research environment
- Advanced degree with demonstrated experience in working and managing large scale projects
- Demonstrated experience in managing and developing people and working in a team environment
- Excellent communication, networking and presentation skills
- Preferably have international experience during studies or work
- Advanced computer skills including SPSS or STATA
3. Director of Research
The Director of Research is a corporate position. Providing strategic oversight and acting as a key client and business development interface the position requires someone with superior analytical and leadership skills with deep knowledge of the Cambodia and ASEAN environment. The position will work on overseeing all research projects in BDLINK and her sister companies. The position will consolidate all research initiatives and involve the development and implementation of key strategic initiatives such as strategic planning, knowledge management and dissemination.
The position will
- Oversee, lead and manage a team of around 15 – 20 consultants and analysts
- Develop and improve research product offerings and provide strategic direction to our research divisions
- Develop Corporate Social Responsibility research products and disseminate
- Be responsible for team development and performance management
- Ensure that research divisions are profitable and the business pipeline is maintained
- Participating in key research projects where required
- Ensure appropriate knowledge management of the business
You should possess the following qualifications and skills
- Sound understanding of the business and economic environment in Cambodia and the region
- 8 – 10 years of experience in a consulting or research environment
- Demonstrated experience in managing and developing people
- Strong character and demonstrated leadership skills
- Excellent communication, networking and presentation skills
- Advanced degree in economics or statistical related subjects
- Advanced computer skills including SPSS or STATA
