Chief Accountant
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for handling and running the day to day activities of the accounting department. Ensuring quality standards and accuracy of all records and all accounts and are up to date and maintained in accordance with International Standards and in line with uniform system of accounting and accounting practices and laws regulated by local government.
You should be quality driven, open-minded, creative, people-oriented, with excellent communication skills and be highly motivated. The position has the following requirements:
- At least 3 years experience in similar position in a hotel industry or related industry with a proven track record
- Excellent command of English language, both written and oral
- Able to work under pressure and willing to work beyond normal working hour when necessary.
- Self-motivated, mature and willing to learn new skills. Honest and hardworking and has a strong communication with other Department Heads.
- Able to work independently and share information to the higher level
- Accounting knowledge and has graduated from Accounting Degree or at least bachelor
- Familiar with Hotel Front Office Back Office system (HIS), Brita System for Back of Office, and computer literate (know Excel and Word, Power Point)
- Able to train the other accounting staffs
- Understand and prepare Financial documents and supporting materials based on the chart of account’s
