2 Field Technicians-Pig Value Chain
(1) in Siem Reap and (1) in Banteay Meanchey province
Responsibilities
- Provide high quality of pig husbandry techniques advices about selection and breeding sow/boar through artificial insemination (AI), economical feeding and proper nutrition at farm level, better health care and hygiene, biosecurity, biodigester and affordable of new inputs and technology, etc.
- Supervise farmers in pig production
- Field follow up and other data collecting
- Coordinate in organize training, exposure visit, field day, and other events
- Contribute working with marketing facilitation, Micro finance and M&E.
Qualifications
- University degree in Animal production (pig production)
- + 2 years’ work experience with extensive pig field and experiments
- Fair English and strong Khmer communication skills Facilitation skills
- Computer skills (Ms. Office)
- Report writing
- Positive team attitude
- Leadership qualities.
