Qualifications
Candidates should be international development professionals with intellectual leadership skills and a minimum of 15 years of experience in the promotion of democracy and good governance. Seven years of democracy development experience must be in leadership positions with programs in legislative strengthening. They must have the requisite knowledge for managing large programs, a track record building collaborative relationships in complex development environments, and excellent communication skills. Applicants should have an advanced degree in a relevant field and must have experience working with government and donor communities. Experience working in South Asia, or in countries with comparable cultural and political environments is highly desired.
