1. Assistant Restaurant Manager
-A/ Responsibilities for Assistant Restaurant Manager:
- Assist the Manager in building and maintaining a strong and efficient team.
- Assist the Manager in creating loyal and trustworthy staff who takes pride in their work, providing the highest possible level of service.
- Operate the department with positive financial results.
- Assist the Manager in supervising and overseeing the administration of the Outlet.
- Ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- Evaluate the operations and procedures and suggest improvements to the Operation Manager.
- Assign responsibilities to subordinates.
- Check the work performance and turnout of subordinates.
- Supervise, oversee and assist subordinates during busy periods in service.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge on products, menus and equipment.
- Liaise with Kitchen and Bar on daily operations.
B - Requirement for Assistant Restaurant Manager:
- 3 years in related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 2 years experience of the same position.
- Language (English and Mandarin)
2. Captain Restaurant.
A/ Responsibilities for Captain Restaurant:
- Supervise the F&B service of the waiters/waitresses within a specified area of the restaurant in a manner consistent with standard.
- Evaluate the operations and procedures and suggest improvements to the Operations Manager.
- Supervise, oversee and assist subordinates during busy periods in service.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge on products, menus and equipment.
- Assist the Hostess in seating guests.
- Run a given station efficiently and smoothly.
- Present menus, make recommendations and push for F&B sales
- Monitor careful usage of operating equipment by the waiters/waitresses
- Ensure a speedy food and beverage service.
- Receive, write and place food and beverage orders efficiently.
- Handles the guest complaints or report to Asst. Manager immediately.
- Check bills before presenting them to the guests.
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings.
B - Requirement for Captain Restaurant:
- 3 years in related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 2 years experience of the same position.
- Language (English and Mandarin)
3. Bar Supervisor
A/ Responsibilities for Bar Supervisor:
- To be responsible for the efficient day–to-day running of the bar operations and to supervise the catering operation as and when required
- To be responsible for the ordering and control of all liquor stocks.
- To carry –out the correct administrative procedures with regard to the orders, deliveries and accounting for stock and cash in accordance with the Council’s Standing Orders and financial Regulations.
- To assist external stock takers in the performance of their duties.
- To ensure that cellars are maintained to the highest standards in order to provide customer with a high quality product.
- To ensure that the bar operations comply with all the statutory requirements including Health and Safety at Work Act, etc licensing Hours and Food Hygiene Regulations.
- To ensure that the service is provided to the highest standards possible.
- To work in a manner, which encourages team work to attain targets as a matter of priority
- Check, advice and co-ordinate with the station’s Captain on daily events
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the menus and beverage list as well as the Restaurant’s activities.
- Present the menus and make recommendations.
- Handles the guest complaints and inform to manager immediately.
B - Requirement for Bar Supervisor:
- 3 years in related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 2 years experience of the same position.
- Language (English and Mandarin)
4. Waiter and Waitress
- A/ Responsibilities for Waiter and Waitress:
- Provide food and beverage services to guests in a manner consistency with professional attitude.
- Take over duties from the previous shift. Hand over properly before leaving.
- Assist the Hostess in seating guests.
- Assist the Captain in taking orders.
- Serve food and beverages according to the guest orders efficiently.
- Tidy the side-station after each shift.
- Receive, write, place, clock in, pick up and serve F&B orders.
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the Menus and Beverage list.
- Ensure a speedy food service.
B - Requirement for Waiter and Waitress:
- 2 years in related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 1 year experience of the same position.
- Language (English and Mandarin)
5. Hostess
A– Responsibilities for Hostess:
- Handle table reservations, control the flow and greeting and seating of guests, and perform the hostess’ duties in a manner consistent with standard.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the menus and beverage list as well as the Restaurant’s activities.
- Present the menus and make recommendations and taking food and beverage orders
- Remember the guests’ names and address them by their names if possible, Bid the guest farewell and thank them for their patronage.
B - Requirement for Hostess:
- 2 years in related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 2 years experience of the same position.
- Language (English and Mandarin)
