Free the Slaves-Freedom Awards

Free the Slaves liberates slaves around the world, helps them rebuild their lives and researches real world solutions to eradicate slavery forever.

We use world class research and compelling stories from the frontlines of slavery to convince the powerful and the powerless that we can end slavery.

The Freedom Awards celebrate heroes of the anti-slavery movement from around the world. These awards are open to organizations and individuals working to eradicate human trafficking and modern-day slavery.

The awards will be given out during late 2011. Awardees will be flown to the USA for an inspirational evening that honors the vision and courage of slavery survivors, community-based organizations, individual leaders and extraordinary volunteers—all bringing slaves to freedom.

All nominations must be received by midnight GMT on August 1
