Médicine de l’Espoir Cambodge (MEC) is a non-profit Cambodian NGO working to provide quality Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) services to the vulnerable populations in Cambodia since 1998. MEC is seeking to recruit a qualified candidate to fill the position of Male Health Care Provider to be based in Phnom Penh.

NEED:

• Male
  
• Medical Doctor, Medical Assistant, Registered Nurse or Lab technician;
  
• Experience in providing Sexually Transmitted Infection consultations and treatments, preferably with Men Having Sex With Men;
  
• Computer literate in MS Word and Excel, Data Entry
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
  
• A capacity to be flexible under difficult situation

JD:

• Provide a high standard of clinical Sexually Transmitted Infection consultation and treatments to Men Having Sex with Men;
  
• Assist in conducting STI lab tests including RPR tests, Gram Stains, Wet mount and HIV tests as needed;
  
• Coordinate stocks of equipment, materials and drugs required for the STI service;
  
• Improve awareness on STI/HIV/AIDS and increase health-seeking behaviour;
  
• Providing initiatives for HIV testing and Counseling
  
• Promote behaviour change among high-risk populations;
  
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
