The John Fitzgerald Kennedy Center (JFK Center) is a nonprofit organization that aims to be a center for training, recreation and awareness.
It was established in 1991 as the JFK Memorial and became an Organization in August 1996 to meet the population's needs based on the principles of John Fitzgerald Kennedy's famous statement "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country". This program was created in September, 1996, in conjunction with students from various American universities to help Senegalese high school students master the English language. Since this program was created, the English Teacher Volunteer Program has hosted volunteer teachers from England and the United States of America. more
