Caritas Cambodia is an international Non-Governmental Organization working in 7 Provinces of Cambodia in Community Health, HIV/AIDS and Integrated Development including Sustainable Agriculture and Youth Development.

In Siem Reap, Caritas Cambodia has developed a large Community Health Program and is currently seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Project Manager for that project based in Svay Leu . (Sothnikum Operational District)

NEED:

• Midwife, Nurse or Medical Assistant with experience in Community Health and Health Centers.
• Ability to do basic assessment, evaluation, work planning
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of English and good computer skills
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to the working situation
• Energetic and not reluctant to travel far and in difficult conditions
• Solid commitment to the poor and marginalized people 􀂾 Able to ride a motorcycle

JD:

• Learn all the components of the project including HIV/AIDS
• Assist the community health staff in their daily activities
• Coordinate the activities at the community level
• Assist with training to communities: Health centers staff, Village Volunteers, school teachers, Midwives and TBAs
• Strengthen the involvement of the communities
• Write monthly reports and monthly plans
• Plan, monitor and evaluate the project on regular basis
• Write project proposals using Logical Framework

The project manager will work in a large multi-sectoral program and will have to spend at least 50% of the time in the fields and 50% for office work or training.
