ZOA Refugee Care is a Christian organisation that provides international humanitarian aid to refugees, displaced persons and victims of disasters, irrespective of their race, religion or social background. The combination of emergency aid and reconstruction is the main spearhead of our organisation. Worldwide ZOA employs some 750 workers, of whom 35 are based at head office in Apeldoorn, in the Netherlands. Dedication to the target group is an essential consequence of ZOA’s mission.
NEED:
- Minimum Bachelor degree in development, finance or related area
- At least 2 years working experience in developing countries preferably in Cambodia
- Excellent communication skills (spoken and written) in English, Dutch would be an asset
- Proven reporting skills, proposal writing would be an asset
- Knowledge of the development context of Cambodia would be recommended
JD:
The program/communication officer is responsible for communication with the head office in the Netherlands and contacts with donors including reporting. The program/communication officer works under the authority of the program manager who is based in Oddar Meanchey. Especially Christians are encouraged to apply for this position because part of the program’s funding is received from Christian donors and/or organizations.
