HIV/AIDS Coordination Committee of NGOs (HACC), a strong network of HIV/AIDS NGOs with the capacity to build strategic partnerships with key players for efficient, effective and sustainable response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic and its impact in Cambodia.
NEED:
- Degree in one of the following disciplines: Bachelor or Master of public health, medical qualification, social science, management, or the equivalent experiences with at least 4 years in managing program staff teams in the NGO sector
- Proven ability to develop and management multiple programs at the same time
- Proven high level experience in networking/ negotiation and coordinating activities with; Government agencies (eg. NAA, NCHADS), UN bodies/other donors, INGO’s and other key stakeholders of written communication skills and proven experience in the development of advocacy and presentation materials, media articles/ press releases etc
- Proven strong oral communication skills and experience in facilitating and presenting at workshops, roundtable discussions, interagency meetings to high national level stakeholders and strong written report/ presentation skills
- Proven ability in software applications including MS Word , Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop, E-mail and internet
- Fluency at writing and speaking English, and willing to undertake provincial travel
JD:
- Overall responsibility for human resource management of HACC program staff to ensure effective integration and cooperation of each program component to achieve positive activity outcomes
- Responsible for ensuring that HACC activities are being implemented according to annual work/ operational plans and follow up with program staff and senior management to ensure deadlines are being followed
- Act as a focal point for communication between senior management and program staff to update each other on planned actions/ up-coming meetings, and to communicate work issues/ concerns between senior management and program staff etc
- Play a key role in coordinating the planning and implementation of major HACC activities and events
- Represent HACC at national level HIV/AIDS interagency groups including; advisory/ working groups, policy development meetings
