The objective of Handicap International Belgium (HIB) is to help people with disabilities to regain their independence, dignity and rights. Our vision is of a world in which all forms of disabilities can be prevented, cared for or integrated, and in which the rights of people with disabilities are respected and applied. HIB has gradually developed multi-faceted prevention and rehabilitation projects to respond to the needs of people with disabilities.
NEED:
- Physiotherapy diploma
- Fluent in written/spoken Khmer
- English knowledge
- Ability to work in a team
- Good communication skills
- Willing to work in the province
- Willing to travel and spend nights in the districts
JD:
- Participate in joint assessment with PO to identify what PT intervention is needed and prescribe advises on the design of the prosthetics/orthotics and rehabilitation aids.
- Together with PO, assesses and advises on the referral to the appropriate medical agencies.
- Set up the client’s treatment plan.
- Gives clear and simple explanation to the Client and his/her family regarding the treatment.
- Motivate the clients to do exercise and gait training.
- Transfer rehabilitation technical skills to the Client and family (ensure client knows what to do when going home).
- Ensure that information on treatment are updated on the client record
