MSF Belgium is an international humanitarian organization, providing medical assistance to the population in Cambodia since 1989. MSF Belgium is seeking to recruit the position of Pharmacist based in Phnom Penh for One-year contract with possible extension, starting in September 1, 2007.
MSF-B is currently operating 3 HIV/AIDS and Chronic Diseases projects in Cambodia: Siem Reap Chronic Diseases Clinic, Takeo Chronic Diseases Clinic and Oddar Meanchey AIDS Care Project.
The Pharmacist is a member of the Medical Team that plays a very important role in leading and guiding technicality and operationality of MSF Belgium in Cambodia. He/she is totally responsible for the drug management to ensure adequate, quality drugs for the whole mission. He/she will work part-time for the first 5 months from September 1, 2007 to January 31, 2008. Then he/she will have a full-time contract.

NEED:
- Professional Pharmacist.
- Experience with chronic diseases, especially HIV/AIDS is an advantage.
- Very good experience in drug management.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to bring innovative ideas.
- Good computer skills (Word, Excel).
- Ability to communicate in English.
JD:
- Manages medical stock of Phnom Penh office, is responsible for drug inventory, sustainable, effective and quality drug storage, and maintains well-organized records of in & out going drugs and other medical supplies and equipments.
- Technically supervised drug educators/stock keepers and collaborates logistician at projects in term of drug management at the projects.
- Coordinates regular drug supply to all MSF projects to be sure that there will be no stock rupture.
- Make sure that all drug educators/stock keepers at the projects apply the MSF standard of drug management.
- Coordinates with logistic coordinator in placing drugs and other medical orders to Transfer and various pharmaceutical companies.
- Prepares a monthly report of medical stock situation for the mission.
- Support laboratory. Assist the Medical Coordinator for networking with NGOs and government agencies.
